I went out to see if I could start it, and didn't even bother, because...
I just found the blockheater cord. I wasn't plugging my car into the block heater, oh no. I was plugged into the cord that runs into the van so the interior can be heated.
So I may have irrevocably buggered my van because I'm lacking the visual acuity to distinguish a black cord against a black frame.
And I started what was likely a frozen block of metal containing sludgy antifreeze on a -30 morning, thereby cocking up the water pump.
Good thing this shithole town doesn't have a boozehole, because I'd be spending the remaining $180 in my bank account on tequila.

Well, I tried to start it, and shut her off right away. Ugliest noise I've heard since the Celebrity Wagon with a cracked head. This isn't good. Not at all.
